Billy’s interest in law was sparked when he had the opportunity to be an Assistant Committee Clerk for the Texas House of Representatives Transportation Committee during the 78th Legislative Session.

Billy earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2008 from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas, now known as Texas A&M School of Law. Billy was licensed to practice law in New Mexico in 2013.

Billy began his legal career as a creditor’s attorney in a large litigation firm located in Las Colinas and Addison, Texas, participating in over 250 bench trials. In 2012, Billy moved to the San Antonio area to begin rendering oil and gas title opinions, and he hasn’t looked back since.
